Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This policy explains how to cancel a Daily Tenders subscription and when you are entitled to a refund. It sits alongside our Terms of Service. Daily Tenders is operated by Cactus Consulting (SMC-PVT) Ltd.

1. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time, with no cancellation fee and no minimum term.

  • Cancel from your account in the subscriber portal, or email info@dailytenders.co.uk and we will action it for you.
  • Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. A cancelled monthly plan runs to the end of that month; a cancelled annual plan runs to the end of that year.
  • Once cancelled, your subscription will not renew and you will not be charged again.

2. Cooling-off period for consumers

If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, UK law (the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013) gives you 14 days from the start of your subscription to cancel for a full refund.

Because a subscription gives you immediate access to the service, you are asked at checkout to agree that we begin providing it straight away. Where you have agreed to that and the service has been supplied, your statutory right to cancel within the 14-day period may be reduced or lost. In practice we still apply the 14-day window described in section 3 below, whether you buy as a consumer or as a business.

3. Refunds

  • Within 14 days of your first payment: if the service is not right for you, contact us and we will refund that payment in full.
  • Renewals: if an automatic renewal takes you by surprise, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it and cancel the subscription, provided you have not made substantial use of the service in that renewed period.
  • Service failure: if the service is materially unavailable or is not delivering the tender coverage your plan is sold with, and we cannot put it right in reasonable time, we will refund the affected period on a pro-rata basis.
  • Part-used periods: outside the situations above we do not generally refund part-used periods, because access continues to the end of the period you paid for.

We do not refund on the basis that no tenders matched your chosen categories in a given period. Volume varies with what buyers publish. If your categories or coverage look wrong for your business, contact us and we will adjust them.

4. How to request a refund

Email info@dailytenders.co.uk from the address on the subscription, telling us what you would like refunded and why. We aim to respond within two working days and to decide within five.

Payments are processed by our payments provider, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for subscriptions bought through this site. Approved refunds are returned by Paddle to the original payment method. You may also contact Paddle directly about a charge; your card or bank statement will show Paddle as the payee.

Once a refund is approved, it is usually back with you within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Pricing and VAT

Prices on our pricing page are shown excluding VAT where applicable. Any tax due is calculated and shown at checkout, and any refund includes the tax charged on the amount refunded.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes apply to subscriptions bought after the updated version is published; they do not reduce refund rights on a subscription you have already paid for. The date at the top shows when this version took effect.
