Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Daily Tenders ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use dailytenders.co.uk and portal.dailytenders.co.uk (together, the "Service"). We are committed to complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect

• Account & enquiry data — name, email address, phone number, company name and the tender categories/regions you select, when you register, subscribe or contact us.
• Call bookings — if you book a call, the details you enter in the booking form.
• Campaign information — if you arrive from one of our adverts, the campaign name carried in the link, so we can tell which adverts are useful.
• Advertising measurement — only if you accept advertising cookies: when you book a call, request sample tenders or contact us, we tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that a conversion happened, so we can measure our adverts. Your email address, phone number and name are converted to a one-way code (hashed) before they are sent.
• Usage data — pages visited, searches made and standard server logs (IP address, browser type), used to run and secure the Service.
• Payment data — processed by our payment providers; we do not store card numbers.

2. How we use it

• To provide the Service — tender alerts, portal access and support.
• To send daily/weekly tender alert emails you have signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
• To meet legal obligations (accounting, fraud prevention).

Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (your subscription), consent (marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time), and legitimate interests (service security and improvement).

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under contracts that protect it, and where required by law:

• Hostinger — website and database hosting.
• Brevo — delivery of tender alerts and account emails.
• Google — our business email, and Google Meet for booked calls.
• Calendly — booking calls with us.
• Meta Platforms — measuring our Facebook and Instagram adverts, only if you accept advertising cookies.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an equivalent recognised mechanism.

4. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after it closes. Enquiry data is kept for up to 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email info@dailytenders.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies needed for the Service to function, such as keeping you logged in to the portal. These do not need your consent.

Advertising cookies (Meta). With your permission we use the Meta Pixel to measure which of our Facebook and Instagram adverts bring people to the site and lead to a call or sign-up. It does not load at all unless you click Accept on our cookie notice. You can reject, or change your mind at any time from Cookie settings in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered for 180 days. Where you have accepted, we may also send the same conversion to Meta directly from our server, with personal details hashed as described above; we do not do this if you have not accepted.

Call booking is provided by Calendly, which sets its own cookies when it loads. It loads when you open the booking window, and is shown directly on our Contact page; it is not loaded on other pages unless you open it.
