This policy explains how Daily Tenders ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use dailytenders.co.uk and portal.dailytenders.co.uk (together, the "Service"). We are committed to complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. What we collect
- Account & enquiry data — name, email address, phone number, company name and the tender categories/regions you select, when you register, subscribe or contact us.
- Usage data — pages visited, searches made and standard server logs (IP address, browser type), used to run and secure the Service.
- Payment data — processed by our payment providers; we do not store card numbers.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service — tender alerts, portal access and support.
- To send daily/weekly tender alert emails you have signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- To meet legal obligations (accounting, fraud prevention).
Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (your subscription), consent (marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time), and legitimate interests (service security and improvement).
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — hosting, email delivery and payment processing — under contracts that protect your data, and where required by law.
4. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after it closes. Enquiry data is kept for up to 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email info@dailytenders.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for the Service to function (e.g. keeping you logged in to the portal). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
