RSPB Lake Vyrnwy Forest to Bog Peatland Restoration 2026-27: Bryn Fawnog

RSPB Cymru is looking to appoint a contractor for forest-to-bog works at Bryn Fawnog, Lake Vyrnwy, as part of an extensive ongoing programme of peatland restoration.

The contractor will be working to restore hydrology on an area of former commercial conifer plantation planted on deep peat which has been clear felled. Restoration methods will include stump augering and ground smoothing.
