The Trust intends to undertake an upgrade of the electrical infrastructure at Epsom General Hospital as part of the wider Electrical Infrastructure Condition Report (EICR) compliance programme. This package of works addresses identified defects and non compliances within the electrical and lighting installations across all floors of the Headley, Bradbury, and Denbies Wings of the estate.
As part of the EICR survey findings, the scope of works includes, but is not limited to:
• Existing electrical validation
• Decommissioning and removal of existing equipment
• Installation, testing, and commissioning of 43 no. distribution boards and panels
• Provision of all necessary enabling works, including temporary supplies and backfeeds required to maintain continuity of services throughout the works
In addition, the contractor will be required to manage the provision (supply and installation) of compliant emergency lighting fittings and associated connections across the Headley and Bradbury Wings, delivered by THORLUX, the Trust appointed supplier. You, along with other contractors, are invited to submit a tender for the provision of works described as the R9309 Electrical Upgrade EGH Ph 2 project at Epsom General Hospital, Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.
